After over 14 years, we are no longer training at the dojo on Vine Maple Drive. We are currently awaiting the decision by the Surrey School Board in regard to the availability of training at Chantrell Creek for the 2008-2009 training season. We will update this website as soon as we receive a decision. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact either Brian or Jesse.

The 2008 World Wado Kai Karate Championships were held at the Hollyburn Country Club in West Vancouver from the 21-23 of August. While it included athletes from all over the world, Crescent Beach was represented by Jesse Knudsen who placed bronze for Team Canada in the Mens Team Kumite Division.

On December 8, 2007, the BC Open Karate Championships will be held at Capilano College in North Vancouver. Registration must be completed within the coming week, so please inform either Brian or myself if you are interested in competing. There are both Kata and Kumite divisions for those who are interested.

On Saturday, December 1st, and Sunday, December 2nd, there will be a Black and Brown Belt seminar at the Pitt Meadows Recreation Centre hosted by Sensei Mike Scales and Sensei Andy Holmes. For more information, a package is downloadable here.
